Every summer season kind of ends the same. It may be that you start to notice the tomatoes are now getting smaller, and are perhaps not as summer sweet. The edges of the plant's leaves themselves are starting to shrivel. The Phlox are still hanging on to a few flowers but even the sunflowers are fading, bringing in many happy finches. So I will sit this week with my journal and make up my list for fall, which will include a new specimen tree for the front yard.
My writing is going well, and I have some new ideas I am exploring.
All in all, I hope to be a busy girl, come the long winter hours.
